Endoscopy GUI

A portion of my dissertation project required a supplementary experiment which explored the actual physical changes to the larynx undergoing a structural displacement. While the participant vocalized the vowel /i/, researcher performed a laryngoscopy of the participant and recorded 30fps video of the participant’s larynx as it was displaced using our displacement device. For full experimental details please see Smith et al. 2020.

In pursuit of defining the extent that the larynx moved to this type of stimulus, I developed a GUI to more easily work with and create manual measures. Below is an example of what the GUI looks like before any video is loaded in.
